What a bunch of jerks. That's not something someone should joke about. Take it from me...One of me best poems is entitled "The Blood Dripping From My Wrists". Anyway talk to him about it. Don't be afraid to show emotion so he can understand that its no joke. Cry if you feel it coming. Release your feelings. Also can I suggest getting your more feeling out in a more constructive way? Write poems or paint. I wish you luck. :-)

I remember this from the Tribeca Film Festival. I have a link to the trailer below. Nobody knows yet when it will be released. I think they are trying to get a wider release in theaters before going to DVD. I have heard of dates from October 27, 2006. Others say October 2007. No real consensus.

A summary of the film:
Inspired by a New Yorker story, "Jumpers," written by Tad Friend, director Eric Steel decided to train cameras on the Golden Gate Bridge over the course of 2004 to capture the people who attempted to leap off the famed structure, the site of more suicides than anywhere else in the world. He also tracked down and interviewed the friends, family members, and eyewitnesses to further recreate the events leading up to the incident and to try to explain what led these people to want to kill themselves, especially at this specific site. The documentary's primary subjects all struggled with mental illness, including severe depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders, and the documentary struggles to understand their illness while illuminating the anger and hurt of their loved ones. Most questions remain unanswered, turning on the darker recesses of the mind. The shots of the bridge wreathed in fog turn the Golden Gate into a metaphor for a bridge between life and death, sanity and mental disturbance, and extreme isolation and connection with society. Though the camera crew worked with a set of guidelines, including that they would call in someone they thought was going to jump, the documentary still includes lengthy footage of the moments leading up to and including the suicides, so discretion is advised for sensitive viewers.

Hope this helps!

Definition of bridge:

3. Nautical. a. a raised transverse platform from which a power vessel is navigated: often includes a pilot house and a chart house.
b. any of various other raised platforms from which the navigation or docking of a vessel is supervised.

This was where the captain and navigator were housed. Star-fleet is based on Naval terminology.

he's not your brother-in-law.
he's your brother-in-law's brother.
but whether or not he's related to you, he's a douche for doing that. guys are stupid around other people. just ignore it and if he does it again, either pull him aside and tell him how serious that was and that it's not something to joke about... or tell an adult who already knows about it and understands how serious this is.
just don't let this get you down. he's a stupid boy. he doesn't use his brain half the time.
